Biography

Gerald “Ganimal” Lamina is a DJ and producer that sparked his career in Austin, TX. The New Jersey-native was inspired by the sounds that moved him in the underground club scenes of NYC and Valencia, ESP. After falling in love with the music and the energy that it brings into a room, he launched a career in music through curating events in Austin’s nightlife.

Having lived a nomadic life in his 20’s, he was exposed to a wide variety of music which has heavily influenced his sound selection. Some of his biggest inspirations are Paul Kalkbrenner, Hot Since 82, Maxi Meraki, and Arodes.

Driven by passion and a desire to improve, Ganimal continues to produce to ultimately refine and elevate his sound. This is just the beginning.
